On 8 March at ITB - Internationale Tourismusbörse in Berlin, the Tivoli Marina Portimão won the Award for Excellence attributed by the tour operator OLIMAR at the Golden Wave Awards 2012.

Olimar honoured 15 Portuguese hotels with a Golden Wave Award, in five different categories: “Beach and Family”, “Nature and Scenery”, “City”, “Golf and SPA” and “Price / Quality Relationship”.
