Imposing rock faces, endless intriguing beaches, the town of Sintra is a mix of styles with an immediate appeal. Extremes of weather, scenery and history. The guided visit through the mountains, which reach a height of 529 metres, include the old part of town, wine tasting at the Adega Regional de Colares (in the town of Colares) and a trip to the famous cliffs at Azenhas do Mar.

• 09.30 Start of Visit. Walk from the hotel to the historic centre of Sintra
• 10.30 Set off for Colares in a Mercedes Vito
• 11h00 Visit with wine tasting at the Adega Regional, Colares
  Tasting of Chão de Areia red wine accompanied by cheese from the Azores and toasted bread
• 12h00 Azenhas do Mar
• 12.30 Visit to the town of with a stop at the “Colares Velho” café 
• 13.00 Return to the hotel along the Monserrate road
