TIVOLI HOTELS & RESORTS CARBON NEUTRAL

More than just an eco-attitude, a carbon neutral experience rich in environmental conscience.

Aware of the do economic, environmental and social impact of our operations, we at Tivoli Hotels & Resorts are now voluntarily managing the carbon emissions from our hotels.
In order to be carbon neutral, we have defined two areas for intervention:
• To reduce our emissions through investment in energy efficiency, in renewable energies and in the optimization of existing resources,
• To offset emissions resulting from guests staying at our hotels, with support currently being channelled to two projects:

King Fernando II Royal Forest (Sintra)
- This is a reforestation project where the main aims are to preserve nature and local biodiversity, as well as to protect and promote cultural, environmental and social values.

Maquiné BioActiva (Brazil)
- This is an environmental, economic and social project aiming for the sustainable development of the Maquiné Region in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.

Therefore, for every €2 which guests contribute to offset the emissions caused by their stay (to a maximum of €10 per stay), Tivoli Hotels & Resorts will also invest €2 in solutions which allow us to reduce the emissions caused by our operations.
