THE TIVOLI PALACIO DE SETEAIS NOW HAS A NEW ROMANTIC DINING CONCEPT DINING DELIGHT
The emblematic Tivoli Palácio de Seteais in the heart of the Sintra Mountains has created a new dining experience for couples, which maximizes the full effect of this palace's romantic atmosphere.
With our “Dining Delight” concept, your dinner can be in an elegant room decorated with frescos by the famous French painter Jean Baptiste Pillement or in the exclusive comfort of a pergola by the pool with Unesco World Heritage as the backdrop. Both options create an idyllic setting for a once in a lifetime experience.
The tasting consists of an amuse bouche served with Champagne, followed by delicious Algarve oysters or a stylish lobster mille feuille. The fish dish suggestion is grouper or sea bass accompanied by refreshing white wines. The meat dishes include duck magret or sirloin steak and are served with intense flavoured red wines from the Alentejo, Dão or Douro. For dessert, typical Sintra pastries or tropical fruit fondue complete the menu created especially for this experience. Our experienced wine expert Aníbal Coutinho is the man behind the perfectly chosen wines.
In addition to the scenario and the menu, it is also possible to make this experience even more special. The dinner can be accompanied by live music with a performance by a harpist or violinist, plus a waiter in a specially designed period costume serving the entire meal.

Slice of grouper with fresh spinach and flaky pastry, Champagne flavoured Beurre blanc

Duck magret with Port reduction on a bed of green apple pie
Fillet steak on a vegetable risotto with sautéed morilles mushrooms
