In the heart of the country, set amidst the enchanting medieval scenery of Coimbra and famous for the friendly service and comfort provided to guests over the last 25 years, the Tivoli Coimbra is now ready to surprise after the modernisation of its rooms, suites, meeting rooms and public areas, with special attention for the new dining option – the Simone Coffee Shop.

The 100 spacious and comfortable rooms now have elegant decoration in neutral shades in a classical style and with new details providing those little extras such as smart TVs and Nespresso coffee machines.

To meet the needs of the growing number of guests travelling with the family, the Tivoli Coimbra now has a new type of accommodation - Family rooms – allowing families of three or four to share the same room in total comfort.

As a reference in the centre of Portugal for corporate events, the hotel’s 5 meeting rooms maintain the same structure but with a new design which is simpler and more modern, equipped with the most recent technology and ready to provide greater comfort.

Public areas have also been renovated and the Tivoli Caffèe is now a coffee shop - the Simone Coffee Shop. Inspired by the figure of the all-knowing host, keenly aware and attentive to the personal tastes of clients, Simone is ready to welcome all those looking to discover this new venue in town where everyone will feel at home. With its convenient and central downtown location, this new space also open to the public, offers affordable but sophisticated all-day-dining. Well-appointed but casual, comfortable and versatile, the Simone Coffee Shop serves not only quick and functional meals for those with less time to spare but also lets those looking for a longer lunch enjoy a relaxing setting. Hamburgers, pizzas, pastas and risottos are just some of the options available on the menu. On Saturdays, Sundays and holiday, Simone serves delicious and varied brunches, from 10:30 to 15:00.
