Tivoli Hotels & Resorts recognized with four
Condé Nast Traveler 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards

Lisbon, 08th October 2019 - Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce that four of its properties were recognized in one of the most prestigious international travel awards - the annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice. In Portugal, Tivoli Avenida Liberdade and Tivoli Palácio de Seteais stand out in the ranking of the “Top 20 hotels in  Spain & Portugal”, while the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Resort ranks 15th in the “Top 30 resorts in Europe” and is the only Portuguese property recognized. In the Middle East, Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli in Qatar is also named one of the best hotels in the region.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel”. This year the votes from readers of both the US and UK editions of the magazine were combined for the first time.

Tivoli Avenida da Liberdade is considered the best Portuguese hotel and fourth best hotel in the category “Top 20 Hotels in Spain & Portugal” by the readers. This position is achieved for the second year in a row, recognizing the hotel that for over 85 years has offered a memorable experience and excellent service in the heart of Lisbon.

The Tivoli Palácio de Seteais in Sintra had direct entry to the seventh position also in the category “Top 20 Hotels in Spain & Portugal”, being the third Portuguese hotel in the list. With an atmosphere that dates back to 18th century, this historic hotel seduces guests into a luxurious stay in an idyllic setting - right on the slopes of the Sintra Mountains, with a privileged view of the Moorish castles and Pena Palace.

Tivoli Marina Vilamoura ranked 15th among the “Top 30  resorts in Europe”, being the only Portuguese hotel on the list. This iconic hotel is the ideal place to unwind in the heart of the Algarve. In Qatar, Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli ranked 11th in the “Top 15 hotels in the Middle East”, rising two positions since last year.
