Minor Hotels, a hotel owner, operator and investor, currently with a portfolio of 157 hotels and resorts in 24 countries, is pleased to announce that it will open three new-build hotels in Qatar in spring 2018 under its Tivoli and Oaks brands.

With the goal of developing outstanding hotels in Qatar, Tivoli Hotels and Resorts – part of Minor Hotels – announces it is now operating the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels in Doha, a collection of nine unique and historical buildings featuring intricate décor and architecture, nestled in the heart of the historic Souq Waqif.

With over 80 years of history, the luxurious Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa Hotel is recognised as a city landmark for its prime location on Avenida Liberdade and brilliant old world architecture. The hotel - the ultimate place to see and be seen - has always attracted celebrities and heads of state alike, from all over the world.

The Sky Bar was inaugurated in 2009, and at the time the event was described thus: “The spot that will mark the summer in the city of Lisbon opened on 16 June. The Sky Bar of O Terraço Restaurant, on the top floor of the Hotel Tivoli Lisboa, providing a stunning view over the city’s hills, the Serra da Arrábida mountains and the fantastic star-spangled summer nights.”

On 17 June, the season officially reopens for the hottest party scene in the Algarve. Purobeach Vilamoura will be showcasing its new Poolside and Beachfront spaces in a Grand Opening, with some big names on hand to to provide contagious entertainment.
