Tivoli Palácio de Seteais Celebrates Regional Portuguese Wine with the Colares Wine Room

The Tivoli Palácio de Seteais, a five-star boutique hotel in a XVIII century palace, is enhancing its atmosphere of modern luxury with a unique new epicurean offering. The elegant Seteais Colares Wine Room is a creative way of discovering local wines and authentic Portuguese delicacies.
Guests are invited to the newly tasting retreat to sip charismatic vintages from Sintra’s neighbouring wine region of Colares. A unique planting and ageing process reveals smooth complexity and vivid flavour in Colares wines, creating distinctive still wines. Acidity and full-bodied taste are clearly influenced by the terroir of the verdant Sintra Mountains region and proximity to the sea. Colares wines are among the rarest in Portugal. Annual production is limited, and every bottle can last for decades.
In the Seteais Colares Wine Room, guests can enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner with an impeccable choice of local Colares cellared pairings, or wine tasting menus with tapas. Rich fruity notes are harmonised with Portuguese cheeses, cured ham, octopus tempura and more fresh seasonable produce prepared by the Seteais culinary team.
This small intimate space has been furnished with prestigious decorations from the Regional Winery of Colares , including antique furniture and period photographs depicting the renowned wine producer’s history.
Wine tasting menus are available from €25 per person and tasting menus for dinner from €100 per person. These experiences can be enjoyed by a minimum of two persons per seating. Take advantage of this unique gastronomic experience only possible at the Tivoli Palácio de Seteais.
