CENOTES OF THE LIMESTONE PLAIN

Drive out to the cenotes of Cuzamá and Homún, some of which are open to the sky while others are hidden away in a cave that is illuminated by a single shaft of light. You can also swim in the water that runs underground, which the Maya considered a threshold.
